The Crushed Rose

Just taking a stroll in the garden, she stops by the rose bush. Dark crimson, the colour of the sheets her mother slept on for the last time before going away. She looks around carefully, nervous, she reaches out her hand, took one by the stem and ripped at it savagely, it came off, not without a fight. Putting the prize she had fought for in her pocket, she inspects the scratches on her left hand.

The screen door clicked shut, someone is in the garden. She pushes her hands deep into her pockets and walks towards the fountain where she looked at the ripe koi, swimming around lazily. Daddy steps out from behind the apple trees and takes her by the hand, not noticing the cuts, he then led her towards the house.

"No daddy!" she cried.

He looks at her and smiles, only with his mouth.

Heh, cliffhanger! Ahaha thats all i wanted to put down, you can imagine your own ending. That would be waaay happier because if i did put down the ending, you readers would be deeply troubled (also im too lazy to do the ending)

Anyway, today skipped the STD talk for compere training. Did some exercises with newspaper articles which was pretty interesting. Paired up and were to use articles from newspapers and include it into an opening to an imaginary event.

Me and Esther's script for the exercise goes like this: (this is not accurate, change some parts cause the original sometimes sounds wonky)

Both: MUAHAHAHAHHAAA

Esther: Hi I'm Esther,

Me: And I'm WanYing

Esther: and welcome to this year's halloween event.

Both: SCARENIGHTTT, MUAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Me: We've got a wonderful/great lineup for you today, but first i would like to thank everyone here today for being so sporting and wearing such wonderful costumes!! Well everyone except Esther. Esther what are you dressed as?

Esther: Why im dressed as me~<3

Me: Whaaat that not even a costume!

Esther: Well its more original than you, your a vampire again!! You were a vamp last year and the year before that AND the year before.

Me: Well Im proud to be of vampire heritage, everyone in my family dresses as vampires for Halloween, you dont have anything to be proud of!

Esther: Well im proud to be singaporean!!!

Me: Whuuuut? What has that got to do with today?

Esther: Obviously you havent read today's headlines in the straits times, 95% of all the youths in singapore are proud to be singaporeans, you are prolly one of the 5% who doesnt!

Me: Im ashamed!

Esther: You should be, ditch the fangs, just go get a paper bag, cut two holes and put it over your head!

Me: OOOH speaking about costumes just now i say someone dressed as miley cyrus and she was singing: "the climb" OFF TUNE!

Esther: The Climb!!!

Me: OFF TUNE!

Esther: Did you ask her which moutain?

Me: WHUUUT?

Esther: Well lets hope its not Mount Merapi cause it just erupted, again!
